Lawn Control Recommendations

Bermuda Grass

          Dormant Season- Treat with Glyphosate (Eraser or Roundup) for grasses and Weed Free Zone to control broadleaf weeds. Apply pre-emerge herbicide to prevent weeds. Should be done prior to breaking dormancy.

          Fertilize every 45 days beginning in April with 15-5-10 or 21-7-14. A slow release formula of 21-7-14 is available to provide a longer supply of nutrients.

          Summer- Apply MSMA to control grasses and 2,4-D to kill broadleaf weeds. Use a spreader-sticker for better absorption.
